dcarr dcarr Getting the hang of it Registered: 2004-05-10 Posts: 62	Hi guys. Last week I received a lot of advice regarding issues I was experiencing with W9x client machines. With your advice I managed to get the machines to process the login script. For some reason however, this week the machines are no longer processing the script? The files are as they were in the NETLOGON folder and the client machines and the domain controller have not been changed? Any ideas what may cause this? Its really bizarre.

wombat wombat Fresh Scripter Registered: 2004-05-24 Posts: 5	Check the permission on netlogon, domain users should have read and execute. I gave up on Windows replication long ago. What I do is wrote a simple script. It will map a drive letter to each of the netlogon directory of the various servers, copy the new files inside, then unmap the drives.

dcarr dcarr Getting the hang of it Registered: 2004-05-10 Posts: 62	Hi guys. Thanks for the advice. Turns out that the primary domain controller had replciated the the BDC and had modified the NETLOGON path of the script. Have since changed this and everything is back to how it was. Cheers
