is there anyway to change the timeout on drive mapping failures.

we are migrating from netware and user.kix scripts are being used to map drives to legacy netware servers. As the data is moved onto windows shares the original drive mappings to the netware volumes is allowed to fail through removed trustee rights. We have a drive mapping executable tool which then takes care of the drive mapping thus making the use of user.kix scripts redundant.

problem is the use command takes a long time to decide it cant map the drive anymore and effectivly hangs the script for a few minutes.

Any ideas much appreciated
