Yes, I have tried launching Outlook after the registry changes are made. It just launches the config wizard. Same thing if I launch Outlook by clicking on the prf file.
My $ppru key is set to ...NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles...
I tried the new version as well. I started with a fresh profile and made sure there were no reg entries for Outlook or Office or HKCU. I then ran the script and rechecked the entries. New entries were made in HKCU and a prf was created in the user's docs\local settings\temp folder. I launched Outlook by clicking on the Outlook icon and got the configuration wizard.
Is it something with the way I have installed Office? I just did a standard install with no special package configuration.
