Hi,

On my school network we have recently been getting problems with Internet Explorer with it prompting users with a dialup connection instead of going straight through our proxy. Is there a registry key I can modify to get rid of dialup connections that we just dont use?

Thisn way I can use kix to change the keys remotely

Ive noticed their is a 'never dial a connection' radio button, yet cant find the key to this. This might be the answer to my problems if I default to this.

the settings are most likely in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

but I bet you don't see it there on machine which has no dial-up connections.

if it's not HKCU problem, it's not user problem but problem with your system or network.
not sure what I should point you to.
I still insist you should look at a machine registry before abandoning the suggestion.
