I use an old kixtart script (16-bit, latest version) after booting from DOS 5.5. Now I changed to DOS 7.1 and the script fails because @ADDRESS shows MAC-address reversed. Example: 00485455FDFA in DOS 5.5 becomes FAFD55544800 in DOS 7.1. How is that possible?

Who's DOS are we talking about here?

IBM,MS,DRDOS, etc...

If you went from different Mfg DOS versions, my guess would be that they gather and report data differently.
