Also, you need to be consistent with your use statements..
You do them two different ways -
(1)
Code:
USE "G:" /delete
(2)
Code:
USE G:"\\Server1\Sys"
Now, if we go and look at the manual, we see -
Quote:
USE L: /DEL
or...
Quote:
USE E: "\\SERVER\PUBLIC"
Here is the code cleaned up -
Code:
USE G: /delete
USE H: /delete
USE J: /delete
USE K: /delete
USE L: /delete
USE M: /delete
USE N: /delete
USE O: /delete
USE P: /delete
USE Q: /delete
USE R: /delete
USE S: /delete
USE T: /delete
USE U: /delete
USE V: /delete

IF INGROUP ("nw2IT")

Also, you may want to read up on KXRPC too (also in the FAQ Forum - right here).

Thanks guys. Will this work with a W95 client? I will try and read up, just a quick yes no will do. Also within the folder that holds the login script I have three files (KIX32.EXE, KIX32.DLL and KX95.DLL) do I need all of these files?

In theory.. Yes, the code will work.
You need to read up on Appendix A on Win 9x.

I have taken a look at the manual and it looks a bit complex to me. I have taken this on from an old administrator and cannot figure out, a simple way, to overcome the problem of the machines not connecting to the domain. If I log the machine into the domain, and then go to Network Neighbourhood and locate the server, I can access the shares exactly how I should be able to according to my profile, however the drives specified in the script do not map to the shares? I can only see local drives from My Computer? Shall I remove the KIX95.DLL from the folder? And insert the KIX16.DLL???? Thanks

I agree I need to gain a better understanding, however can you explain something to me. I have copied both th KIX16.DLL and the KXRPC.exe file to the NETLOGON folder. However, the client machines (W95/W98) will not process the kix script? I looked in the manual and it claims that a kix*.log file is copied to display the errors but I cannot locate this file. Do I need to copy any files to the client machine? And if so where do I copy the files to? Thanks

Sorry, the KXRPC.EXE is in the folder with the script and otheer associated files. Do I need to install Kix on the client machines?
