Dear all,
Im after a log off script to delete two folders and run a asset collection. (Cant do it at logon because of the amount of time assest coolection takes and also running remote users through a 56k line)
I have done a search but ended up with a broken post, can someone please direct me to an example and a bit of explanation?

You need a third-party utility to run logoff scripts under Windows NT 4.0. Yu could laos have th login script fire off a RUN event for a separate script which would then run after the user logged in. You would also restructure this script to separate out data collention (locally) and data transmission (to remote system).

Alternatively, simply run the data collection as a scheduled task.
Your scheduled job will update an "in progress" data area, and copy it to "last completed" area when it successfully finishes gathering the information.
When the user logs on, retrieve the "last completed" data, and update the local data collection scripts if needed.
