Jens, I checked a XP client on target domain. The WMI security settings are default values, with full permission to "administrators", and to "everyone", "Execute metod", "Provider right" and "Enable account" is allowed.

Since I using domain admin account for target domain, It should work, but something happens when i do WMIquery to a client on target domain:

-2147352567
COM exception error "ConnectServer" (SWbemLocator - Invalid parameter
) [-2147352567/80020009]
The storage control block address is invalid.

I dont know what it means... and I need to make it work...
What 2 do ?

Can you use an account from the target domain? Can you manually query the remote domain through WMI?

Connect using WMI Control to a client on target domian: Access denid!, (even using domain admin account for target domain.!) Thats it. I will give this up and use nbtscan insted, to get UserID...

Thanx a lot to Jens and the rest of u for your feedbacks (and having patience with the a vessel of second kind :-))
