yet better, we can bring thousands of littres of beer from germany, but when you bring thousands of littres of alcohol, it's considered to be bought for selling and you are required to pay taxes.

So, you say, you're not brewing yourself?

One of my cousins-in-law has his own little micro-brewery setup in his cellar. However, he used to be stationed (Air Farce) in Utah, so I guesss it was part of his essential survival gear.

sure, you can do your own alcohol (I didn't say I haven't done last year) but the taste of imported vodka as example is lot better than almost as costly home-made sh*t.

so, there is no reason to keep making it yourself except to maintain the skills.

You have to pay tax when you import more than lets say 5 packages of cigarettes from outside the Europian Union But when you import less than 3 kilos coke the boarderpolice keeps the coke and sends you away....
