We aren't using something like the non-found page. Each old URL will be reachable, but it will be redirected directly to the new URL.
A non-found page may have some unwanted site-effects in our opinion.
Also we have to deal with different format of URLs. Handling those different format is costing us most of the time. Normally it was handling by the CGI scripts.
