Don't you just love/loath how these corp. ID10T's come up with these ridiculous standards like Greek gods for server names?! (What happens when you have more servers than gods?) They should have no business making standards that have absolutely no affect on their responsabilities! One of our managers here wanted to name all pc's and servers the same thing "S10023" S = School Specialty, 10023 = the number from the custom asset tags we buy and stick on all hardware. This is a big problem when you have over 13 remote sites spread across the US.
Sorry, that's a sensitive spot with me.
