We use IT Services or ITS for short. We used to have an IS department that was strictly midrange (S38,AS400,VAX) but I had nothing to do with them. The IS dept did not serve the desktop needs so I came up from the grassroots by installing a LAN. Over time, I had more clients than the IS department which eventually got downsized (centralized).
