I used to come to KORG first thing in the morning and there were a ton of posts to peruse. Is this not the case anymore? Is it due to the new board?

for the US, it may just be for the Thanksgiving day vacations and such... but early morning is would be the Europeans... Do they celebrate kicking out the pigrims before they became Americans?

Obviously, I don't post as much as you guys, but I read just about everything. I noticed this before the new board as well.
The one thing I've been surprised by, is the number of anonymous users. There are times during the day where the anons outnumber the registered users...
But I can't help but wonder if all the "RTFMs" and just the shear amount of previous good posts, has all but eliminated the need for the great help around here.

Redirecting to the correct topic would be great and very simple if the topic numbers have remained the same.
Just putting a "this site has moved" page up for now would help a great deal to catch visitors who are linking to the old URL - the topic redirects can come later.

When you see Ruud's latest mail for him this site is the major site for kixtart.
When you are searching for "kixtart" this site will be the first entry in most
search engine.
Our experience is, that each interruption shows a decreasement of total usage.
Seeing the statistics the amount of posts of top25 members is lower. Lower because
less questions.
Indeed the "views" column shows how much activities are on the board. Something
which wasn't possible to see on previous UBB.Classic version.
When you see the statistical info we see the
same pattern with previous months. In the months April, May and June we will have
a lower value for it. So it isn't specific related to this move.
Also it shouldn't be necessary that usage is growing and growing each month.
Another tendens of this year is, that the amount of replies on one topic is
growing and growing. In the beginning mostly two or four replies on one
topic.
When people are very active with kixtart and this board they know some other
sites like "scriptlogic", "kixhelp", "kixforms" and our sites. Sites who can
return information about possible 'unknown' status of "kixtart.org" site.
Les, how continuing the statistical information we are working. Important is,
that we see a stable layout. The introduction of style sheets makes this possible.
In the past in some situations a new font or a new URL format requires additional
actions of us.
For each old entry we can create an redirect page. It is only necessary that
Henri will put them on his site. This process is of course very simple, when
we have our statistical information back on track again.
Anonymous user doesn't mean it isn't a member. Most of them are
members who want to be anonym on the board.

A quick check shows that there is no correlation between the old BB post number and the new, so unless Henri got a translation file when he converted the board there is not much chance of automatically redirecting to the correct page 
I think all the old URLs should display a page which explains what has happened to the board, and offer links to the new main page or the search page.
The very low number of posts we are seeing is good evidence that people are not finding the new board.

Dear,
We have both lists. Only we need to create those translation file. Based on that
translation file we can create a mechanism above redirecting to new URL of old topic
URL.
So, there is a chance for redirecting. Only Henri much put our redirect pages on his
site in the "cgi-bin" directory.

it isn't really necessary to join the board or reply to someone else his topic. It is a shame because it is the power of this board...
