[Moderator (Sealeopard): Moved thread form 'Scripts' to 'General' forum due to lack of script in body]

I am trying to set up a real time inventory of all of my workstations. I have currently installed wmi on nt and 9x machines. My question is what would be the easiest way to havethis happen. My thought was to have the logon script e-mail a txt or csv file to our sql server and have sql create the data base and then have it accessibly via our intranet site. Does not seem that difficult but my sql guy keeps giving me the run around. Has any one else done this or have suggestions.
