Bryce was one of the top experts when I was a clueless noobie. Well at least I'm not a noobie anymore. [Big Grin]

I may have passed Bryce in post count, but will never catch him on expertise.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Hmmm.... a real old timer then... sound like he was born in a log cabin that he built with his own hands.

When I first started visiting this site, it was Bryce & Shawn who attracted my attention. In my mind, they initiated the current environment. They answered questions daily, posted scripts & most importantly of all started the informal chit-chat environment that dominates the board today. Henri created a forum for us but Bryce & Shawn created a community.

Three cheers for both of you [Eek!] [Eek!] [Eek!]

Jack, I originally joined this board because at the time, we were implementing a Kixtart login script for the first time here. This was when Kix was still a reskit util. The guy I remember the most was bvvanor (brad) who does still pop in now and then, and of course Lon was very active at the time. I then went away for two or three months to finish our deployment.

I came back to korg because basically I got hooked on Kixtart. The four members I remember being the experts at the time were of course yourself, Bryce, Erik (kholm) and MCA ... so the roots of this community were already planted as far as I'm concerned, and your as much to thank as anybody.

Thanks Shawn,

But you are too modest. While Erick, Radimus, MCA & I (Lon & Brad were not around when I started to visit) responded to a lot of questions, you & Bryce were the ones who started the on going kibitzing. As I said it was you 2 who drew me to the board. It was really run to watch the way you 2 bounced ideas & thoughts off each other. The rest of us just watched.

PS: I kind of miss Bryce's old self. While he returns now & then, he is not the presence like he use to be. [Smile]

maybe bryce is just afraid of bastafication-virus?
don't worry boy, after short pain, you will feel quite good.
remember, you only die once, then you are... bastafied?

anyway, congrats oldie, 2k for you is something we all have been waiting.
if we could have weighted-postcount, yours would probably be 27.049 [Wink]
...or mine 1.182
or something [Razz]

Congratulation Bryce

Very glad to see that you're still around and that Texas was able to keep you employed in your chosen profession.

You're definetly an assest to this board even if it is difficult to visit as often as you used to.

Thanks for all the good code, games, and ideas over the years. [Big Grin]

Dear Bryce,

Also a big congratulation with this milestone. We will not repeat above reactions, because it
will be the same words.

Something people aren't noticed the last months but you are also the person who
creates the 100.000 post
on this board. It happens on the September 9th.

So with the very special milestone also a very big congratulations.
greetings.
