We have a some Shortcut UDFs out there..

EditShortcut() - http://www.kixtart.org/board/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=000256
ShortCut() - http://www.kixtart.org/board/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=000068
wshShortcut() http://www.kixtart.org/board/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=000399

We use an older 16-bit application on the desktop..

If we look at the shortcut under Windows 2000, we get an option to "run under separate memory space."

If we look at a shortcut under Windows XP, not only do we get the option to run under separate memory space, but run in say Windows 95 compatibility mode.

Is there a way to edit these extended properties when the shortcut is being generated? Did not see anything on MSDN or Microsoft Support site..

Thanks,

Kent
