Richie19Rich77 Richie19Rich77 Seasoned Scripter Registered: 2002-08-16 Posts: 624 Loc: London, England	I am in two mind weather to cross over to VB, I know that Kixtart can do all the tings that VB can do, but my work is putting preasure on me to move over. They say that if I leave it will be much harder to get someone in who knows how the scripts are scripted, if they were in VB anyone should be able to read them. Someone tell me what is the difference between VB 6, VB.Net and WSH, they all look the same to me. . The one thing that keeps me with Kixtart is this board, no where else would you get the support like you do from any language. This baord is what makes KiXtart so good. Any thoughts. Thanks

The biggest thing is that there are no virii created from KiXtart.. Where, you will find quite a few of them in VB/VBA/VBScript.. Luckily my management drops the subject each time I bring up the word virus, they are scarred as hell for it (a good thing actually). Especially with the current Sobig.f thingies going around. I’d stay with Kix and document your scripts. Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	I dont think you really got much choice for scripting ... its got to be VBS running under WSH and thats it (given the choices you mentioned). Dont think there is a scripting engine for .NET yet. If there was, sure would like to know about it.
