When we run the KIX421UPDATE.EXE to copy down the executables, we see the following: quote: C:\>cd scripts C:\Scripts>%logonserver%\netlogon\programs\kix421update.exe The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. What we don't directly understand "why was the wkix32.exe installation be done correctly and kix32.exe not". Do you have some special settings on those clients? Of course, it isn't always necessary to have kix32/wkix32 local. With current bandwidth it can run from your server. Those package were developped during those old modem period. greetings. [ 11. I think this has to do with KIX32.EXE being in use either by the installation program itself or another process (KIXTART.KIX - login script).. Only people who want to try to install kix32.exe or wkix32.exe from a kixtart script gets those problems.
