Hello

i have the following prob:

i use the run command to substitute a drive....

if i use kix32.exe with console ("hide")
there is still a command prompt after the logon....

if i use wkix32.exe /i there is still a small popup.....

is there a possibility to run a kix-script without any popup????

Think I should have read better...

you say you substitute a drive on 2K/XP ?
well, there are two possibilities:

1. the folder to substitute is residing below a shared network folder. If that is the case you may also map a drive directly using KiX' use command.

2. the first is not the case, so you may just shell the subst as shown by Richard here (%ComSpec% /c is the keyword [Wink] )

hth

nope it's not.

the way the hidden logonscript guru does it:
-name your logonscript "kixtart.kix"
-set the logonscript for users to be "wkix32.exe"

this logic does not show any logonscript at all.
in fact, it allows even simultaneous loading of other services and users desktop whilst the script is running.
thus none of the users will ever know that there is a script.
