My question...

Is there a way to unminimize this box under Win2K that doesn't expand the DOS box to the full length of the screen?

I would like to do this without having to modify the registry if at all possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

But i found a way to go arround:

On my NT4 CLients, i added a Registry Key, to tell the Gui to pause starting untill the login-script has finished. (Microsoft Documentation)

I also tried this Key on my W2K Clients and suddenly the logon-script doesn´t run minimized: It Runs as desiered

The Registry path is the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

KEY: RunLogonScriptSync
Value: dword:00000001

After i added this Value to all my W2K CLients, the Logon Windows runs Normal and NOT minimized.

The problem with KST solution is that everybody must wait before
a script has completed. We like the very fast way of starting
your desktop and doing a lot of inventory logging in the back-
ground.
