Kdyer Kdyer KiX Supporter Registered: 2001-01-03 Posts: 6241 Loc: Tigard, OR	I am looking for a screen scrape utility to get the text from a program. No, this is not like the screen scrapes that are used in the web-programming where you can get dynamic updates from weather.com, for example. I have used AutoIt's "Reveal Mode," but does not get what I need.. I think Robin Keir has a util too.. Maybe "Windowse"? Hmmm.. HyperSnap-DX 5 http://www.hyperionics.com/hsdx/index.asp HyperSnap-DX 5 is a screen capture and image editing tool for Windows. Captures screens from standard desktop programs and hard-to-grab DirectX/Direct3D, Voodoo and Glide mode games. The program can auto-scroll and concurrently capture long web pages and other documents, enabling it to grab more than is visible on the screen. Can also resize and capture entire windows much bigger than the screen on Windows XP. The program integrates with the Windows clipboard, and has new painting and editing features, too. AutoIT, Windowse, Showin, etc. all want to try to grab sectional views of the program. I just want to select the windows text.. Maybe I need to get SUSE running with WINE and go that route.
