Richard, when I saw this thread I thought the same thing. But happily, because Kixforms has zero dependencies on Kixtart, I thought there was no need (in my mind) to consult Ruud on this.
But funny you mention this because I DID ask Ruud's permission to use something that is NOT used by Kixtart:
$Form = CreateObject("Kixtart.Form")
I used (quite innocently) the Kixtart COM namespace !!! I used it pretty much starting day one. So what I did (and this goes back to the topic of this thread) I sent a note to Ruud (about 6 months ago) asking him if I could use the Kixtart.Form COM namespace (and a couple of others namespaces) ... not only did he respond, he was very pleased to hear that someone was actually using the namespace, and gave me permission on the spot.
