Are you doing a DBConnOpen() before the DBExecuteSQL()?

Sealeopard,
Afirmative on the DBConnOpen...

code:
 break on
$objConn = DBConnOpen('DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; UID=; PWD=; DBQ=f:\database.mdb')
DBExecuteSQL($objConn,'UPDATE Staff.[3/4ID]="ABC1234" IN Staff WHERE Staff.[SocialSecurity#]="123-45-6789";')

Lonkero,
Thanks for the UDF Link...
Here is the error:
quote:
9 : The storage control block address is invalid.
I dug around on the web a bit, but didn't find what causes this error or how to fix. You guys know what is wrong?
