Stupid me, took on the roll of backups because I knew a bit about ArcServe. Put it this way, in my interview for my next job, I will be asking what they use and if its ArcServe I will say no thank you. I have just totally uninstalled and reinstalled ArcServe coz one of my jobs kept hanging. SP4 for ArcServe applies more bugs than fixes I feel and their support website is one of the worst on the web. All I can say is I can't wait til we move to Tivoli Storage Manager. Does ArcServe handles this esasily cause veritas takes about 200 steps...any experience to tell? I had read the instructions and ended up using a bootable cd with a Dr file and the media tape to run recovery from remote server. [ 16.
