Yah.. Just try this with SQL Server.. Nasty. Again the internal Microsoft util works just fine.

I know how you feel Lonkero.
Stupid me, took on the roll of backups because I knew a bit about ArcServe. Put it this way, in my interview for my next job, I will be asking what they use and if its ArcServe I will say no thank you.
I have just totally uninstalled and reinstalled ArcServe coz one of my jobs kept hanging. SP4 for ArcServe applies more bugs than fixes I feel and their support website is one of the worst on the web.
All I can say is I can't wait til we move to Tivoli Storage Manager. My headaches will be over !
