[Moderator (Sealeopard): Moved thread from 'General' to 'Beta' forum]

The @logonmode macro works in kix32.exe v4.12 but not in 4.2 and later, including the beta. Not sure about in-between versions, if there were any.

The macro just returns nothing, not 0 or 1.

I'm assuming this is a bug because I can find no mention of it being removed on purpose.

This should be posted to the Beta forum.

I don't see why when it relates to Kixtart releases 4.2 and 4.21. There was no bug/problem report section so I posted it to the general one.

Because if it indeed is a bug then it would be included in the list of bug-fixes for KiXtart 4.22 beta and not in any of the previously released Kixtart versions.

Ruud visits this forum... This would be lost in the General forum.

Since the bug was overlooked in previous betas and still exists in the current 4.22 beta, it qualifies to be posted here.

Just to clarify the rules for posting in beta...

The standard operating procedure (SOP) is that if a bug exists in the current beta, release candidate, or gold version (whichever of them is the most recent), then the beta forum should be used to report it. In other words, a bug that makes its way into a gold release should still be reported in beta. Ruud continues to monitor the beta forum even when there is no current beta.

Obviously, there is no point in reporting a bug that exists only in a prior release.

If there is any doubt as to whether or not it is truly a bug, it should first be discussed in another forum. If a post regarding a supposed bug is disproved, then it will be moved out of the beta forum.
